The JJ Metta Memorial Foundation was formed in 2008, with the objects of: 1. Development and implementation of education projects and access to information related to public health, disease prevention, sanitation, and nutrition. 2. Development of programs that improve opportunities for women and young girls on the threshold of maturity. 3. Emergency relief for the poor and down-trodden. 4. Support for projects that improve access to and improvement of educational facilities and instructional methods. Late Col.V.S.M Sharma was the founder of the organisation, and after his demise Mrs. Anuradha Pillalamarri, Mrs.Yashoda Devi Kanala and Mr.Prabish Kumar Kamalasan are continuing as the Trustees of the organisation.
